As an Association we ask the community to support CNN with our fundraising activities every year. Now it's time to give something back to our community!
The Bon Accord/Gibbons Food Bank is looking for some help so we are asking that WE, the parents and kids of the CNN SRURS, step up and help.
The food bank is needing toys, gloves, toques, scarfs and gift cards (older kid gifts) to add to the Christmas hampers. All items have to be new.
CNN will be hosting a DONATION DRIVE. There are 2 days that CNN will be collecting the items from teams, both at the Gibbons Arena:
a. Thursday Dec 10 from 6:00 to 7:00
b. Saturday Dec 12 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
The food bank is also looking for volunteers to help at the food bank Saturday Dec 12 at 9:00am to help receive items that are coming in from NWR. I'm sure we can get 2 parents and 4 kids (over 12) to help out.

We all know the economy and layoffs and cutbacks are all around us. Let's make sure all the FAMILIES in OUR community are well fed, warm and have a gift under the tree this Christmas.
